One of the great joys of managing the FijiBure.com web site
is the connection that I have made over the last year with hundreds of people
who have visited and loved their experiences at village homestays.
I want to wish all of you the very best over Christmas and the festive season. May the Lord Jesus watch over and taje care of you as we move into the year 2005.
We have many guests who will be staying with our hosts over Christmas and this will be a very special time for them as the wonderful village choirs sing in perfect harmony. One of the greatest attractions on the FijiBure.com CD that we released earlier this year was the choirs at Namuamua and Naiseuseu.
Our hosts from all our participating villages send their best wishes for 2005 and thank you for the support that you have given them.
Over F$20,000 went directly into the hands of our villages this year and 2005 is destined to be an even bigger year with some positive publicity in the mainstream media pipeline!
There are some big things happening next year. I have learnt to "keep my powder dry" until they happen, but they will! One of the biggest is the launch of a new cruise service aimed at back packers and adventure lovers which will travel the length and breadth of the Pacific Islands. I will tell you more about the Pacific Village and its mystery tours once it is in operation.
