Just
above the meeting place of two beautiful rivers not far from the town of
Navua lies the small village of Namuamua.
In 2003 this traditional, unspoilt, Fijian village community opened up their
doors to tourists who wish to enjoy a few days experiencing their traditional
village life. The village recently celebrated its first wedding for outsiders...
who proclaim the experience as exhilarating and unforgettable....
The village is just a few minutes by water taxi from the village of Nukusere so larger groups can be accommodated by sharing between these two inland villages.
Activities include: bush walking, star gazing,
photography and boat adventures up the river
